What opportunity looks like

by Michael Moore
Tuesday, September 25, 2007 2:29 PM MDT

There is a small window of opportunity to contribute your thoughts on the type of individual you think the Natrona County School District should seek as its new superintendent.

Representatives of Ray & Associates, the Iowa-based firm that the district has retained to conduct the national search, will take public comment today, Sept. 26, at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., in the Tiffany Room at the Parkway Plaza.

Ray & Associates is working with a committee of the school district to define and list the characteristics our community is looking for in the next superintendent. This list of characteristics will be used to advertise for and appraise candidates for the job.

If you would like to comment about the type of person you think the district should search for, this will be your opportunity.

The district is in the process of choosing a new leader. Your opportunity to help shape the profile of the individual for whom we will advertise and search is today. Don’t miss it.
