Jasmine Kaitlin Spurlin Bock

A funeral service for Jasmine Kaitlin Spurlin Bock, 11, was held July 20, 2008, at Bustard’s Funeral Home, with Pastor Robert Peterson of First Southern Baptist Church officiating. Cremation followed the service.

Viewing was held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 19 at the funeral home.

Jasmine died July 8, 2008, in Des Moines, Iowa, from injuries received in an accidental fall. She was born Sept. 9, 1996, in Denver to Recca Spurlin and Kevin Bock.

She attended Mountain View School in Mills and loved to climb trees, hills, etc.

Jasmine enjoyed helping her Dad cook and took road trips with him in his big rig. She had fun shopping with her Mom.

Survivors include her parents, a sister, Brianna Marie Spurlin Bock, two brothers, Joseph and Jasper Renville, and grandparents, Dean and Carol Spurlin, Terry and Alanna Jaqua and Teresa Spurlin, all of Casper; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Bock, and her grandmother, Virginia Pearce.
