Rambling Again

Flies

by Katy Masterson

Plan and simple, flies are.

Annoying, short living and multiplying like rabbits. Well, more then rabbits. They are FLIES!

Sure, I’ve had my fair share of troubles with them. Getting into your clothes, or just being there at the wrong time. Such an annoyance.

Flies just happened to make a complete breeding ground off of our ranch in Saratoga. Everywhere! Either in every corner, or lying on the ground somewhere, dead.

So, about every 10 minutes, you would hear the vacuum being whipped out, and the noises of tiny fly bodies being sucked up into it. And I remember when I was knighted the responsibility of fly cleaning, which was actually kind of fun!

A little payback for the creatures that made our first night at the ranch a complete nightmare!
