Rambling Again

You what? YouTube!

Over 10 million views of a baby laughing. Nine million views of two teenage boys lip syncing to a theme song.

Welcome to YouTube.

It’s a little place on the internet (www.youtube.com) for people to post videos, like animation and vlogs, (video diaries) or music videos and picture slideshows.

All you do is make a video, and upload it to YouTube! On the last day of school, I made a video slideshow of me and my friends. This video was up for three weeks, with already 724 views!

You can find just about anything on YouTube -- friends, music and videos of course. They might come in handy too, like how to rip a phone book in half.

My brother made a video when he got his head shaved. It got over 10,000 hits! Odd or interesting movies like that seem to get the most hits.

Youtube is beneficial too. There is a guy whose screen name is “FitnessFactor” who teaches viewers little ways to become healthier.

“Smosh,” two guys who make funny videos, are just one pair of YouTube’s “stars.” Their two-minute skits are being praised from every corner of the YouTube world.

“Right now, I have two paid video deals in process on two very, very well known networks,” said YouTuber anwad1. He made a video with him pouring water back and forth between two cups -- with over 200,000 views!

Watching videos or talking to other users are only some of the things you can do on YouTube. Overall, it’s a hangout for everyone to “chillax.”
