Internet dating?

A definite parent “no-no” For their kids: Internet dating.
Especially if you don’t know what the person looks like. Acts like. Age. Or where they live.
A good example is, yet again, YouTube.
People “date,” or “go out” on there all the time, endangering their safety, and maybe even some morals. Exchanging phone numbers, e-mails and even where they live at. Very dangerous for teenagers.
I see this all the time.
So, this took some investigating.
When their Internet boyfriends/girlfriends post a picture of themselves online for the world to see, I notice that he/she is not as much of a flirt anymore … interesting.
I also noticed that none of them seem to be good looking. Is that why they flock to the Internet, flirting with boys/girls that they don’t know, and probably never meet, so that they can get SOME form of attention from someone else?!
That is what I think. I mean, (being stereotypical) would someone like them really flirt, and be sleazy to someone that they don’t know?
Must be something in the computers these days…
