Another’s words

I love words. That’s obvious, you muse, for here you read many of my words. But truly, I don’t love my words nearly as much as I love the words of others.
I am an avid reader of fiction and non-fiction. You rarely will see me reading passively. I underline; I write down quotes in a little green notebook, and I sometimes, after I read something good, mark my place, pause dramatically, and marvel profoundly out loud.
“Oh, my gosh,” “Wow!” and, “Oh, that’s good; that’s really, really good.”
Over the years (I have written here almost 10 years), I have shared some of the quotes I collect. I add to those today.
The following quotes are not necessarily my absolute favorites, but they have made me stop and think, stop and evaluate who I am and what I do.
I share them today in hopes they will do the same for you.
