Motorists driving along Wyoming Boulevard on Casper’s west side may experience some delays beginning next week.
Work will begin July 6 on traffic lights at Talon, Plaza and Eagle drives off Wyoming Boulevard.
The work will begin with the construction of foundations for the signal pole bases. The first will be constructed at Talon Drive, followed by Plaza and Eagle.
The construction is expected to take two to three weeks at each location. The final step of the project will be the installation of large overhead mast arms, which hold the signal lights in place.
Traffic may be delayed while the overhead arms are being installed, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation. New turning lanes will be constructed as part of the project.
