District chooses Pineview architect

Representatives of the Natrona County School District and the Wyoming School Facilities Department, in a meeting last week, chose Stateline No. 7 Architects of Casper to design the new $12.5 million, 53,000-square-foot Pineview Elementary School. The new school will serve approximately 400 students. The project calls for the demolition and reconstruction of Pineview on its current site. Design is expected to start immediately and construction could begin as early as June 2014. According to the architect, 95 percent of the engineers and associated architects for the project are true Wyoming companies. Lyle Murtha, Stateline No. 7, said his firm is “completely excited and thrilled to be selected. I’m kind of speechless,” he told the Casper Journal.
